On Thursday it begins. The start of the endless void of CD recording. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the fact that we are recording, but the actual recording of the CD can be tedious. The hardest songs to record will be the really easy ones (because of all the little kids) and the really hard ones (because they are hard). We are going to put McLean's New World on the CD. How long will that take? I'm guessing 6.5 hours but I'll let you know the real time when it happens. Other songs that I think will last eternity are: E string concerto, Bugler's Holiday, and Trepak. I play through and practice most of the recording list every day. Oh well...I'll be happy about it later.
