Obviously I love violin, but sometimes practice can be tedious and not something to look forward to. Lately (since I have been learning the Mozart A major) practice has been something I love. I have a hard time practicing anything else. Also I am not just playing through the piece, but I am working extensively with the practice suggestions. I went from practicing a measly 40 mins. to a good solid 1 hour 30 mins! This still isn't as much as I should be, but I'll work up to 2 then 3 hours. Any other suggestions on how to "buff up" your practicing?

Coffee, chain-smoking, and missing half my meals worked for me.

Just work it up, like you are. Always look for ways to make it more fun!
