I was going to write about the development of string ensembles in Silliman University for a research project. I thought it was going to be an easy task. But I was wrong. I found out that SU had a long history regarding string ensembles (not exclusively bowed strings) I had to sort through almost-century-old manuscripts. Wheeesh! I wish I suggested another topic. It's a bit hard but think it's fun and I am enjoying it.
