The performance has come and gone, and I'm still somewhat amazed. We all dream/plan/practice, but then the day comes, the orchestra starts, and the realization - immediately - that the fiddle player coming in is one's SELF?!?! It went well, the audience was receptive and many people had great things to say. Most importantly I know what needs to be done for the next performance, which takes place in January - with a yet unknown pianist.Still reeling sometimes from the Hurricane, I'm now doing lots of paperwork.
