I'm almost done with the Bach Invention No 8. After like 20 weeks of working on it I've almost got it perfect. Now we're working on that cool scale exercise. And I'm starting octave scale exercises etude thing. I really hope that I can do this really well. I've been trying to better myself for college in two years. I hope that I can have audition pieces ready. The Back Invention is going to be one of the pieces I guess.Idk, I don't think the SAT exactally works that way. A lot of colleges now don't look at the new writing portion. So you should see if that college requires the score out of verbal and math, or all 3 sections.
Also, if you get half the questions right, that doesn't guarantee you will get a 1200 out of 2400. The SAT is scored somewhat like the PSAT, for more info on that go Here.
I spoke with some people that have taken the SAT recently, the soon to be valedictorian of our school, a very bright person, and they said that it was a rather difficult exam. And didn't score as well as they thought.
I signed up for SAT questions of the day at collegeboard.com. They can really help you out in preparing!
But anyways, good luck, hope that helps.
