The 1st Week Is Over

July 20, 2007 at 5:18 PM

I made it through the first week. Four left. I am pained by the girl who sits next to me. The teacher asked us what should we look for under the car when doing a pre-drive check. Do you know what she said? "Bad people," I was trying not to laugh out loud. But the guy behind her is worse. Before class started he tapped her on the shoulder as asked: "What's that button you press that shoots you out of the car?"
Has the public school education system gone down hill from where it was 100 years ago? Apparnetly if this is what I have to put up with.
I want a grand piano if you would like to donate, please e-mail me. Only joking, kind of.

how many hours do you have to have in washington? In NY we have to have 24 hours of lecture and 18 hours of driving observation and then 6 hours of actual driving... The lecture part is what I hate! I started July 2nd and I have to go 'til August 13th :(..

Lucky you. We have 30 hours of lecture, 4 hours of driving, and 4 hours of observation. But this September Washington raises prices and you 6 drives.
What's the cost of driver's ed in New York? It's $285 at the school I'm going to.
