Filming! or the idea of it.

June 15, 2007 at 11:02 PM

I was wondering if anyone knew of a video editing program that is free and you could do like a split screen or pip or something like that. We have Adobe Elements 3.0 but I don't know if I can do it with that program. What my goal is is to be able to play a video duet with my self. My first idea was to film myself playing the paino. Then to put that on a video tape and tape myself next to the tv with another instrument. Repeating this process untill I'm satisfied. But our vcr is broken. My luck.

You're old enough to learn how to fix a VCR. What's wrong, you aren't mechanically inclined or something?

I am not mechanically inclined. That's my weakness is my strength is only in music and in school. Anyways if something were to happen to the adjoining DVD player then I'd be in real trouble.

There is a cello player somewhere, who does like layer over layer over layer very professionally, but I'm sure his equipment is way from free. He seems a techie....
If I can think of how to find his internet stuff I'll hook you up.
