Singing

May 29, 2007 at 4:58 PM

I have been drafted inot my church's youth choir. It's kind of exciting. Except that the director (who is my previous piano teacher) won't let me play piano and sing.
Just a quick question for those of you who sing. If you have any tips I would be most appreciated.
Maybe if it turns out right I'll post the song on here.

Cool... Sorry I don't sing. My sister likes to sing. But that is opera, so I doubt many tips from her would be helpful. I have to sing and play piano at the VA. I don't like it. It is harder that it seems. Some "staple" songs like America the beautiful and stuff are easy, but when you get into the complicated songs it gets confusing.

Anything would be appreciated. Breathing techniques, stuff like that.
