Violinist Nicola Benedetti's Foundation Offers 'Virtual Mini Sessions' for July and August
After thousands of music students all over the world participated in violinist Nicola Benedetti's Virtual Benedetti Sessions in May, the Scottish-based Benedetti Foundation will offer "Virtual Mini Sessions" during the months of July and August.

The sessions are a group of shorter workshops, with separate offerings for young people, music students, recent graduates, instrumental teachers and adult learners. Start on this page to sign up for a session. While there is a small administrative fee to participate, there is also financial assistance available.
The mini sessions, which will be taught via Zoom, will include practical sessions that focus on topics such as technique, physicality and well-being; and as discussion sessions that focus on professional and personal development for students and teachers. They will be taught by a team of musicians and educators that includes Benedetti herself.
Offerings for school-age string players include:
- Vibrato
- Beginner Basics
- Shifts – upper strings, cellos & basses
- Young people, aged 16+, are also invited to join the Music Students, Recent Graduates Sessions.
Offerings for instrumental teachers, more advanced students, graduates and adult learners include:
