Thinking of those in the path of Irene

August 27, 2011 at 8:35 PM

Wishing safety to all of you on the U. S. east coast, with the arrival of Hurricane Irene. One good piece of news: if you lose electricity, you can still play your fiddle. No excuses for not practicing! ;) Just kidding. We're all thinking of you and praying for your safety.

Thanks, Laurie.  It passed over my town without doing much damage.  Even my neighborhood, where a power outage can result from the sun shining brightly, had no reported outages.  Good luck to those who await Irene.
