In which I almost return to blogging, but cop out at the last minute.Dear comrades, I was really going to write my third blog tonight, about the orchestra concert I played in last night, and our amazing guest conductor from Poland, about the cool modern piece we played, about how we are still all trying to figure out WHO dropped a beat in the Liszt and nearly blew the whole thing to smithereens, and how I accidentally became assistant concertmaster for a while.
But I'm too tired, so for the time being, please do enjoy this amusing and enlightening article I just came across: it is a behind-the-scenes vignette of life in the Takacs Quartet written by their first violinist, Edward Dusinberre. More later, honestly.
Eager to hear more blogging, but can well appreciate BFS - the dreaded syndrome that occurs when one grows greatly fatigued at the though of blogging. : )
