OK...what gives?

October 6, 2007 at 6:50 PM

So, as I feared, I did indeed lose my third chair first violin spot....BY MOVING UP TO SECOND CHAIR (associate, assistant, whatever!!!) FOR SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE NEXT MONTH. What...the hell...GIVES here???

I hope this doesn't seem like bragging...really, I'm more mystified than anything.

Oh, whatever. I was never too clear on that. I'm second chair, whatever that's called. :)

If I knew any Hungarian, I would congratulate you in your favorite language. Failing that, as Szigeti would say, "Mazel Tov"! You are now the associate or assistant concertmaster, which is terrific. We knew you could do it! Keep up the good work.
