Returning to my old friend Pizzacato

August 27, 2006 at 3:58 AM

Tonight my wife wanted to watch a movie on the Sci-Fi Channel called the Dragon Knight I think. We've gotten into the habit of watching the new made for TV movies on SF from time to time.

I decided to work on Pizzacato as we watched the movie, practicing Minuet 2 from Suzuki 1. It was a great way to practice and watch TV. I got to where I could comfortable finger the tune and pluc the strings, we'll see what it did for my actual playing tommorrow.

It does seem to help me get repetition in.

That's a good use of time. My ex would never have let me get away with it (not devoting my full attention to a show that he wanted to watch).
