Today, I write in distress... 3 weeks ago the cellist from our piano trio quit. Our coach suggested the possibility of a violin sonata 1 week later. The pianist and I got together once to sightread Mozarts Violin Sonata No. 21. She had the wrong music with her... to top it off our coach never told us if we were in fact performing. (waste of the 2nd week) I emailed the director yesterday and we are expected to do it.
We are being judged tomorrow with no coachings and now no coach (she was pregnant.) We will have our 2nd and final rehearsal before the judging tomorrow. From this we will be judged if we can perform at Carnegie and Symphony Space in 1 week.
Thanks for screwing everything cellist! =)
Ouch...
best of lucks!
All the best, you deserve it.
Anne-Marie
Thank, we got the go-ahead to perform it =)
