The joy of playing with others

May 9, 2008 at 7:22 AM

I really really enjoy playing with others. I am starting to think that picking an instrument to learn is a complicated decision, among other things, personality must also be taken in to consideration. I'm a very outgoing person, I love to be around people Playing in an orchestra fits me well. We have fun making music together.

We also had a very small section rehearsal for the 2nd violin (only 3 ppl showed up),but I learned so much from them!! I enjoy every moment of this. I remember after I went to the first rehearsal, I was like "dude, I ain't going back in a year or two". Here I am, still sticking with it. For the slower parts, I can play most of them. The fast parts, I play what I can. As long as the conductor allows me to stay, I'll stay!!
