Somehow, I missed the thread on the youtube orchestra auditions some time ago.

One guy just totally rocked and I haven't seen him around here since:

He also played the violin really really well. But he doesn't list it as an instrument in his bio, and he lists the "viola" which is ambiguous considering he is from Brasil.

Curious about this extremely talented dude.

Hi, I guess there was some kind of mix up and they omitted the violin... Anyway, thanks for the rockin' part!!

He pplayed the violin here in our State Orchestra, a very good orchestra, I am surprised he plays the guitar and the viola also!!!

Hi Paul!

So, do you play the Brasilian "Viola" (plucked strings), or did you mean the larger brother to the violin?

I play the mandolin and the classical guitar, but no brazilian viola for me, just the actual classical viola.

Hi Paulo, come to test my violas here in SP someday! My latest instruments went to the Gewandhaus Leipzig and to the principal viola of the Kammerphilarmonie Bremen, both playes used old instruments.
