Is this where they have a jury of little kids? Is that a festive thing, or is there a point? Is the idea that what appeals to kids should be what appeals to grownups (lord, save us from that)? Or is it just a new condideration? Or do I completely misunderstand it?

Hi Jim,

Yes, they have a children's jury. The purpose is two-fold, I think. First, its educational for the kids, who get to crystallize their values. Secondly, it might help give an objective comparison to the official jury's results. Of course, there is also an audience prize for that, too.

The William Kapell IPC also has a volunteer's jury.
