Yesterday a lady working on projects of development in Palestina asked me if I would be interested in joining a project for classical instrument teaching in Ramallah for beginners. The project will include also the chance for beginners to have thier own instrument bought using regional funds.
Unfortunately in this moment I'm focusing on getting a job as a chemist so I refused her proposal but in the same time I was thinking that it's crazy that in Israel there are the best music schools in the world and palestinians can't afford to get there to study in those schools, that's so sad.
I hope the instruments will get to Ramallah without problems: you know as strict are the controls in Ben Gurion airport.
