Should You Use Arm, Wrist or Finger Vibrato? Or all of them?

September 27, 2013 at 8:49 AM

Are you confused by the three types of vibrato?

How can you pick between these three types and develop your very own vibrato style?

Watch this video and learn! ;)

Is this useful to you? Please let me know in the comments below!

Love,

Zlata

Thank you for your continued contributions of helpful videos. I rarely comment, but always watch them and learn new things. You mentioned in this video that you would post links to your videos on vibrato development but I did not see them in the blog body text? I was keen to go check them out as I am attempting to learn vibrato currently and am kind of stalled out at one stage of the learning process and am hoping you can provide some inspiration or a clue on how I might get moving back forward again. Again, thank you!

Hi Laura, thank you for your beautiful compliment.

Oops, good that you notice! I completely forgot to put the link there. Now I have adjusted it on my website...

You can find the video with the vibrato exercises here: http://violinlounge.com/5-exercises-to-learn-vibrato-on-the-violin-or-viola/

Happy violin playing!

Zlata
