I'm back

May 26, 2006 at 2:06 AM

I know I have been quiet for a while. That's because I no longer have the wireless internet card from my previous job. Sorry about that.

Since then, I've got a new job and went to Shanghai for a trip before I started. I bought as much classical music DVDs and books as I could find in Shanghai... SO CHEAP! Unfortunately, the trip was so short I had no time to visit local violin shops :-(

I remember a year or 2 ago someone was looking for the Butterfly Lovers Concerto. I already have a copy (Violin & Piano) but I bought another copy in Shanghai just in case. Anyone interested let me know.

Started my new job this week. So far so good. 30% salary increment (told you I worth more!), flexi-time, less stress, no peak period... all translate to more money and time for violin :-)

Practice is as usual, 1-2 hours practice everyday. Progressing a little but slow. Sick of exam pieces and starting to look for something else to learn, Beethoven's Romance in F and then G. Love both of them, so beautiful.

How's everyone doing?

Welcome back. Can you help me find a job as good as yours?

Perhaps take up an accounting qualification? The world seems never stop demanding for bean counters. I moved from one extreme to the other extreme (from public accounting firm to state government). People here says "goodbye" starting from 4:00pm, while I'm still trying to get use to going home as early as 5:30pm!
