GREAT VIOLINIST THAT PASSED AWAY.

October 19, 2011 at 3:41 PM

I remember greats violinist because my uncle study violin with a student from Leopold Auber great pedagogue. I have recordings in CD from original recordings record heard violinist like Erica Morina( A lady in playing) Heifetz, Michael Rabin,Milstein,Kreisler,Mischa Elman( Small in size but large well enfocated sweet sound) Mr. Perlman Isaac Stern, Jose Figueroa,Kachiro Figueroa, David Oisthrah,Jackes Thibaou( Great French violin player and French Pedagogues in The Cecile Normal of Music Conservatory in France during the 2 world War) George Enescu,, ect.. In this century we have some violinist player like Hilary Hankns, Mr. Perlman, Ann Sophie Mutter, Joshua Bell ( A very well trained player) are as excellent players and some are a miserable copy made in a mold with specific requirements. The most of them you can’t even recognize them. I’m 45 yrs old and with 25 yrs in violin performance violin player and I have read the history of the violin players of different eras and their track. I believe in what Sir. Leopold Auber said on his book I totally agree with him 100% in his teaching. I study violin with his "OLD" violin method technique I study only but only technique like sevsik, Shradiek, Dont, Mazas, Gavines, Kreutzer and other violin Technique you can imagine. I even had a good violin professor who left and passed away that left me with a well trained violinist. My students that I teach them have to go in the same way I went. The form of teaching that Ivan Galamian, Dorothy Delay and many others I respect but is not my type. I was admitted to University of Miami School of music at Miami, Coral Gables, Fl. I audition with the following repertoire 1) Tartini's Devil Trill Sonata 2)First Movement of Mendelssohn’s violin concerto, 3) all Mayor, Minor’s and arpeggio’s violin 30) 2 short violin pieces Sarasate Gypsy air and a small but intense in sound projecting Thai's melody and for the last but impressive Bach's Chaconne’s. I still don’t understand and have gone to masters a class that shows Suzuki’s violin method. I in the yr 1988 I audition for one of for my own personal feelings at the Julliard School of Music at NEW YORK,MANHATHAN and the answer was NO because I was a Latino, that’s discrimination but god send me the right place. I believe that if you are a good well trained violinist player with a good right bow grip school and a well trained left trained hand artucaled WHY SUSUKI'S ..I don’t want to offend anyone. It’s my opinion. I would like to hear your respectful humble opinion.
