Last night was fun - I figured out the beginning of the bruch concerto by ear, all those videos are so helpful, Im not a Menuhin fan at all but having dvds is so helpful for me - to have someone in front of me playing the masterworks - no guessing about bowing or fingering, its all right there in front of me.

Anyways that was really fun and then I played about half of the bach g min adagio by memory - its really starting to sound good, its exciting to play bach and have it sound good.

Also just experminting with bowing to get different sounds, just expermenting with bow speed and how that affects tone.

The vibrato this is really starting to come along, I like to play Albioni's adagio, nice and slow and plenty of long bows to practice vibrato, its finally starting to sund like music, how exciting!!!
:)

So as you can see all this is exciting for us muggle violinists, until next time

Cheers
