why I have an 'outside' violin

June 6, 2008 at 12:39 AM

Right now it is 8:30 p.m. and it is still 92 degrees. I am playing an outside wedding on Saturday at 6 p.m.-it's supposed to be 97 degrees.

I's got to be a little below 97 in the evening. Think cool.

Oh Patricia I empathize! I once did an outdoor wedding in November (this is Canada) and they assured me there would be heating. Well, I got there, it was below freezing and there was no heat and as all good performers say, the show must go on.

I prefer Deep Woods Unscented Off, sprayed on in a generous manner.

Hey it's noon and 91 degrees. Predicted high of 99 now. And did I mention the Great Dane who is a ring bearer? (He is walking down to a Mozart minuet).
