There's nothing like being the owner of a new pet, or rather pets. These are by far the easiest pets I've ever had to look after. Can you guess what they are? It's not a cat, a squirrel, a rabbit or a dog. These are the types of pets parents give their kids as a training ground for a "real" pet.

It's hard to believe that in only a week (from this Friday!) we have our 2nd major orchestra concert. Shostakovich, Glinka and Tchaikovsky. My fingers get tired just typing their names, nevermind playing first violin for them all. AH! stress!! But good stress! It's kind of funny, if you look at my wall behind my computer, there are schedules and course policy's spread out and taped to the wall everywhere. I am still amazed that I am able to keep my day-to-day life sorted out, packing lunches, getting to classes on time, keeping up with homework and studying (mostly!). I actually did a first this past week, I pulled up a couple of chairs near my locker and went to sleep for a little while. When you've been at school for nearly 10 hours and still have a 3 hour orchestra rehearal to go, sleep is an exciting prospect.

I'm glad you're managing to keep it all together. A nap was certainly warranted in the situation you described. You must have been really tired if you could fall asleep on three chairs. I love that cartoon.

Eugene - he's my friend too!! Hehe....we hang out a fair bit at school and have walked over to Vanier for food and such. Basically....everyone at the music department knows Devon Joiner lol.
