I got to conduct orchestra today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was great fun, and my classmates were wonderful. We worked through several pieces, stopping every now and then to work on parts. And I think that they even sounded better by the end of the hour. (Plus, several of my friends said that they liked my conductinig better than our concertmaster's - personally I think he's the better comductor, but he's a perfectionist which gets to be a bit much for some people).

You got some very good advice on this site, and I'm glad it paid off. You did a great job and also had fun. Do you want to be a conductor now?

Ha, ha, ha! I read your blog entry before I went to sleep, would you believe I DREAMED I conducted an orchestra? I might add that it was miserable, as well.... ;P
