Yesterday, I had a really sacry experience when I was tuning my friend's violin...... all four pegs had slipped, but the bridge hadn't fallen, so as I was tightening the strings, I didn't notice that the bridge was at a really bad angle, and it snapped in half. The sound was horrid! (ya know - strings twanging, and pieces of wood hitting the body) Anyway, now I've been scared away from tuning my violin.... I'll have to get over that by the time I practice tonight...
