Beethoven, Messiah, and Teaching

November 2, 2005 at 4:39 AM

Good bye Beethoven's fifth - hello Messiah...

Beethoven was good. I love the fourth movemtnt, its so big and loud and exciting

Messiah has been fun so far, we're playing movements 1-21 and 44. Tonight, we worked with the soprano soloist, and that was interesting.

Also, I started working with a colege student who hasn't played in about 15 years. I'm not really a teacher, more a practice partner. Anyway, she's really nice, and I think this will be fun. And, I'm sure this will be good for me as well as her.

It's that time of year. We're gearing up for our annual Messiah singalong.
