Wow! So, it was my first time working during Production week for my school newspaper. I am the news editor, newly promoted.

Gosh! It was like milking a cow with your mouth. (I've never done it before, but I'd imagine it'd be tedious.) Reading through articles and marking them with the red pen. Reading through articles again and marking them again.

I did not even get to practice for a couple of days.

Tomorrow, I wake up at 6am to practice violin because that is the only time between classes that I have to practice. AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, whatever. No one said college would be easy.

Ewww. It was like what?
I saw a guy without arms do it before. So, the simile seemed fitting.
LOL! You never saw anybody doing that.
Yes, I did! It was on this weird show called, "Maximum Exposure" or maybe "Jackass" or maybe "MADTV", but I know I saw it!
He wasn't very successful! Which is why it was tedious, I am sure.
Congratulations on the new post! Having worked in "administrative situations", you have my sympathy, it can be a bit of a weight, but it's all good - particularly that you have an opportunity to test yourself.
