I am a jazz violinist who loves to play Bach solos, and some works by other composers at home.

This past week I have just started practising again after overdoing the chordal stuff in the bach fugues. I really should know better. I tell my students all the time, *if it hurts, STOP". butI didn't.

Now I am back on it, doing scales and arpeggios, long bows, more long bows, and my articulation exercises, as well as messing with sections of Saint Saens' intro& rondo, bruch, mendelsohn and as always Bach.
