Thanks for everyone help and comments on my website. Actually I didn't end up using any of the solutions to that strange little bug. I kept looking and asking and eventually found it - by removing the back-to-back html comments around the area the bug fixed itself. So Pauline, although my extensive use of comments does help a lot, as is so often the case, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing :>Anyway, with that out of the way, I'm getting down to the things I'm actually good at, which is playing my violin. I had a bit of a false start last week - I picked my girl up (i'm talking about the violin, and not my girlfriend this time ;) hehe) and gave her a bit of a play, but it had a buzz. I got disheartened, and didn't pick it up for the rest of the week. Started again this week, and have booked in a time to go see my luthier, but the buzz has stopped, which makes me think it was just the strings getting used to being played again, instead of a crack in my violin. So for the past two days I've gotten through all my technical work - which makes me feel all happy and pleased and all that stuff.
I start teaching again next week. I've got two returning students, and two new ones, however I've lost one student (for the simple reason that all the phone numbers I had aren't working any more). I'm hoping that they will call soon.
I've also been asked to house-sit a friends house while he and his wife do a 3 month trip around Australia. So I'll be living on my own for three months. I'm looking forward to it, and since it'll be at the start of the uni year, i'm looking forward to getting lots of practice done uninteruppted and lots of study and all that sort of stuff (as well as feeling of independence).
Got to go, time to get on with the rest of my day.
Normally, the only time I see a kangaroo is when I go to the zoo (not very often), so I guess the only chance of me seeing a kangaroo with a goatee is if I went to the zoo after taking a strange substance (and seeing as I don't take strange substances, I won't be seeing a goateed kangaroo).
