It's been a bit of time so I have a few things to update:
Concerning my application to the scholarships at uni, I didn't get it, which I expected would happen. I played fairly well I thought, and many people outside said that they enjoyed my playing and even thought that I should've won. So that was encouraging, however I have to wait till my third year to apply for my next scholarship or prize.

More recently, I entered the Joondalup Eisteddfod. I didn't win my section (Piece up to 8 minutes long equal to AMEB Grade 7 or 8), but I felt really good performing. I played the first movement of the Haydn G Major concerto, and although I was nervous, and it showed, I felt I didn't make as many mistakes as with my telemann. Perhaps it was because I had an accompaniement, or perhaps it was the fact that I like this piece better, or maybe even because I've had more performance practice. Either way, I can tell that my performances are getting stronger.

I move on to Legende now for the next few weeks. I'll just do that for about 4 weeks, and if I can manage a run through of it by then and it just needs cleaning up, then I'll learn a new piece, contemporary, possibly Gershwin Preludes or Stravinsky Chanson Russe.
