My Reflection on my Stupidity

February 7, 2006 at 4:43 PM

Hello everyone. You know, I actually kinda miss viola now that I'm not playing it everyday. I still don't want to switch but now that I think about it and reflect, it was quite possibly the best thing I ever did for my violin playing. My fingers are more flexible, they are stronger and my tone was helped greatly by Prof. Martin's bowing stuff we did. It gave me a new way to think of sound production which I transfered to violin. I also play with a lot less tension and I have Professor Martin to thank for that. I know I made a really big fuss about viola but that's because I was majorily stressed out about the whole ordeal but now I'm really glad for the experience, hindsight is always 20/20.
