Hey everyone,
I just love the way Oistrakh plays Debussy's "Clair de Lune" and was wondering if anyone knows the arrangement he was using, or else any good arrangement of this piece you may know of. I would really like to play it on my recital in the fall...
Here is a link to the video of the performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKd0VII-l3A

Thank you for posting this. I lost the violin insert part to my Clair de Lune about 10 years ago and it is nice to get it back for $2. Tom
Is the $3 edition on http://everynote.com/violin.show/3454.music decent?
This one looks like the reference edition: http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/Clair-De-Lune/19472944
Has anyone any experience with the Minus one edition?
Oistrakh uses the Clair de Lune arrangement by Alexandre Roelens. I have a copy published by Editions Jobert. It may still be under copyright.
thanks for the info. I checked the recording on the Minus One website and it sounds like they used the same arrangement as well.

Also, given the current popularity of the piece, I would think that your music store is either going to have it in paper or is going to be able to supply it by download.
