Lacie Carpenter

I've been playing violin/fiddle for 13 years. I have won the World Campionship People's Choice Fiddler of 2008, and 1st Prize Fiddler at the Gilmer Yamboree in 2009. I have played in 9 orchestras and numerous bands. I am currently the fidder and mandolinist for the Texas Smoke Band at the Gladewater Opry. I teach privately as well as with ETSO's Kirshbaum String Program, where I teach at two inner city schools, teaching 5th graders how to play violin. I love performing and teaching, classical and many folk music styles! Music is my life!
