Katrina Wiggins

Classically trained throughout elementary and middle school. Was incredibly serious and ambitious until I had a falling out with classical music in high school. Now I play violin fusion - adapting the instrument to rock, pop, and Celtic music for band/group playing. I'm in university, so I spend way less time than I'd like to pursuing the possibilities of violin in alternative musical settings. I play a Zeta Educator Electric Violin right now (best ever!). I also have a 1950's Roth which my teacher told me was awesome at the time I bought it, but which I hate. (Looking to sell...) Sound's actually too complex for me. I also have a junky Asian Skylark which I mess around with when I'm not working off of CD's.
