I am an adult male student of the violin. After thinking about it for some time,I purchased my first violin from a pawn shop in Denver, Co. I had some music training as a youth (piano-4 years,jr.high school band, trombone 2-years)but have not done anything musicially since. I could still read alittle music so I just messed around with it for about a year. I soon realized that if I ever wanted to be able to play the violin well, I would need some help. I've since located a great teacher ( professional violinist with the Utah Symphony), upgraded my violin, and have set my sights on becoming a respectable player. I am a general contractor by trade. Other interests include flying(private pilot), sailing, and just about anything else out-of-doors.
