Kim Grey

I studied quite seriously up until 1997. That year, I had an accident slicing the pinky and ring finger of my left hand. I continued to play until 1999 using creative fingerings to compensate for nerve and tendon damage, but finally gave it up midway into college due to frustration and discomfort.

Almost ten years after my accident I'm playing again. My short term goal is to perfect my tone. I'm striving for an expressive, almost human voice-like quality. At the moment I'm focusing on lyrical intermezzos, Gypsy music, jazz, and Celtic fiddle tunes.
