Barry Munro

As I begin, I am listening to one of my favorite cello cds with Jacqueline du Pre playing Elegie in C minor; composed by Gabriel Faure.

I am a weekend woodworker with a developing interest in violin and cello making. I soon realized that hand tools specific to these stringed instruments are expensive. For now, my progress is a plywood violin mould and buying some books about violin making. I recently purchased "The Art of Violin Making".

I admire the Jasmine Davis website about cello-making. Such a fine collection of step-by-step photos of the craft especially from a 1st time builder.

I would like to purchase a set of plans and instructions for the "Sleeping Beauty" CELLO originally build by Domenico Montagnana; as referenced on the Jasmine Davis website. Building the mould would keep me busy for a while, while I build up my tool collection.

If anyone can assist me tracking down CELLO Plans as per above, it would be appreciated.

It's time to change CDs.
