Aine O'Brien

I am a full time Suzuki and conventional violin teacher. I completed a 4 year Bachelor of Music degree specialised in pedagogy in the Conservatoire, in Cork City 2006.

My Suzuki teacher training was studied with Trudy Byron-Fahy in the SEIi (Suzuki Education Institute of Ireland) and Barbara Parham in the BSI (British Suzuki Institute).

I completed a Masters in Applied Music Education in Roehampton University London, focusing on music psychology. My thesis was written on Increasing Motivation within the Suzuki method, doing a small case study within the UK and Ireland and sending an online survey across the Suzuki teacher network world wide.
