PechaKucha Night (PKN) at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, FL. My topic: "What Are All These Little Black Dots?" - a brief history of musical notation in 6 minutes, 40 seconds. PKN began in Tokyo, Japan in 2003, and is now a regular event in more than 900 cities around the world. PKN Orlando began in October 2010, and has had 18 events since its founding. The concept is that each presenter is by invitation only, each person has to prepare 20 PowerPoint Slides, and is only allotted 20 seconds per slide (20 X 20). This limits each presenter to 6 minutes and 40 seconds total, and keeps the evening flowing nicely. The topics are varied as each presenter selects his/her topic. I encourage you to attend a PKN near you, if given the opportunity!
This past July, I was given a wonderful opportunity to present atHere is the video recorded live from my presentation: PKN YouTube
