Riccardo Bergonzi label

Edited: December 26, 2025, 12:24 AM · Has anybody here a genuine Riccardo Bergonzi violin? Could you help me to determine if what I am offered is genuine?

The violin is branded (burned into the wood), *BERGONZI*, just above the paper label.

The label is bordered by spades, and has the text,
"Anno 2012 Riccardo Bergonzi
fece in Cremona" with "R.Antoniazzi" hand-printed onto the label.

The left side of the label has what appears to be hand-written RB, starting on label and extending onto the wood.

The bass bar also has *BERGONZI* branded into the wood.

Thanks in advance for replies.
