Does anyone own the sheet music for Danza de la Gitana by Halffter arranged by Heifetz?

December 23, 2005 at 01:36 AM · Was wondering if anyone owns the sheet music to Danza de la Gitana by Ernesto Halffter transcribed by Heifetz for violin and piano? I really want to play it for grad school auditions and have looked everywhere and tried every resource, even ordering it from Schott Music in Germany and only to discover it was transcribed by someone else!

I posted this question before but never asked if anyone else owns it. If anyone could help, I'd be so grateful. I've really checked every resource like Juilliard book store, Carl Fisher website, Carl Fisher archives, Heifetz transcription books, every sheet music store in Manhattan, every website, and have come up short! :(

Thank you so much and best wishes for the holiday season!

February 3, 2007 at 02:41 AM · I had trouble finding it too, got it through Iterlibrary Loan from San Antonio. I have a recording by Ida Haendel, which is different, it says she uses the heifetz transcription but she doesn't do the beggining pizz does anyone know if she uses a different edition?
