Benjamin Godard Violin Concerto

March 13, 2008 at 03:26 AM · I recently came across Benjamin Godard's Violin Concerto No. 2 on Chole Hanslips latest recording. I was totally blown away and instantly fell in love with the work. Does anyone know how I can obtain this music? I've searched a ton of music publishers and I can't seem to find an estate of any sort. Any Ideas on how I could obtain the sheet music?

The Worldcat database of libraries shows a few libraries with this score; I see there:

NEWBERRY LIBR

INTERLOCHEN CTR FOR THE ARTS

SOUTHERN METHODIST UNIV, CENT LIBR

and the Free Library of Philadelphia.

If you have access to Interlibrary Loan, you can try requesting the music; alternately, a library may offer to photocopy it if it is public domain.

Good luck; I'm looking forward to hearing this recording myself.
