Finalists announced in 2022 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS – Six violinists were named as Finalists in the 2022 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI) on Monday, after four days of semi-final rounds, in which each of 16 semi-finalists performed a full recital showcasing 19th and 20th century works from the standard repertoire.
Here are the finalists:
- Joshua Brown, 22, of the United States
- Sirena Huang, 28, of the United States
- SooBeen Lee, 21, of South Korea
- Julian Rhee, 22, of the United States
- Claire Wells, 21, of United States
- Minami Yoshida, 24, of Japan
The Classical Finals begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
