Montreal International Music Competition Announces Jury for its 2023 Violin Edition
The Concours musical international de Montréal (Montreal International Music Competition) has announced the jury for its 2023 Violin edition.

The jury will include Zarin Mehta (chairman), Salvatore Accardo (Italy), Koichiro Harada (Japan), Yura Lee (Korea/USA), Mihaela Martin (Romania), Lucie Robert (Canada), Dmitri Sitkovetsky (United Kingdom/USA) and Krishna Thiagarajan (Germany/USA).
Applications are open for just one more day - the deadline is November 15. Click here for the application. The competition is open to violinists born between January 1, 1993, and December 31, 2006.
The 2023 Violin edition will take place April 22 through May 4, 2023 in Montreal. Founded in 2001, the Montreal International Music Competition is an annual competition that rotates between voice, violin and piano.
Participants will compete in 2023 for prizes totaling CA$158,500, including a First Prize of CA$80,000, Second Prize CA$15,000 and Third Prize CA$10,000.
