CA Wunderlich (1850s) - Any Info?

March 5, 2026, 11:09 AM · I stumbled upon a violin at an estate sale with a typed label inside that reads "C.A. Wunderlich. Gegrundet 1854. Siebenbrunn (Vogtl.)"

I know that Wunderlich was a family of makers, but I also found some information online that they were a retailer selling cheap student instruments, and I'm not sure which one I might be looking at. The typed label (including the years) makes me hesitate that it's one of the Wunderlich family hand-made instruments, as I can't see any other maker's marks.
