I was wondering if anyone has read or come across books, documentaries, or research studies that explore communication within chamber music groups. I believe it’s essential to develop strong skills in this area for anyone wishing to professionalize in a piano trio, duo, string quartet, or any other ensemble.
For example, it can be quite challenging to anticipate, manage, or resolve tensions when playing with the same musical partners over a long period of time.
Cheers !
