But yesterday I looked at the prelude to BWV1007 and was surprised at how sketchy her work seems. Baerenreiter's choice was just one of many possibilities, I suspect.
This makes me wonder how good her S&P really are.

For BWV 1007–BWV 1012, since Bach’s manuscript has been lost, direct comparison is not possible, but again there appear to be numerous slur markings that strike me as unnatural in her manuscript.
Here is my hypothesis: in Anna’s manuscript of BWV 1007–BWV 1012, the passages that might be regarded as copying errors tend to be marked with dot-like signs. I suspect there is a possibility that Bach himself may have reviewed this manuscript.
In any case, her manuscript today is an invaluable treasure, and I am always grateful for Anna’s efforts at the time.
