Has anyone heard of this violinist before? I've been given the opportunity to play in a masterclass with her. I don't know anything about her at all, other then that I've heard about her. Does anyone have anything they can share about her? If things work out (right now they are still trying to pick a time for the masterclass and it will be subject to it not happening in the evening that I play) I'll be playing the Largo from Bach's C major sonata.
Any tips on preparing for the masterclass on a piece I've been playing all of a week and a half?

Sorry that my reply comes seven years late! For the record, Jenny Abel is a grand lady of the German violin school. You can get an idea of her style here:

Her repertoire is in itself quite remarkable, including recordings of Bach, Bartók, A. Berg, Brahms, Schumann alongside Bentoiu, Respighi, Villa-Lobos, G. Bacewicz, Henze, Rosenfeld or Konjovic. The technical rigour, the intensity and nobility of her phrasing are absolutely identical in standard works and in neglected gems.
