Authenticity of the Spirocore Viola G and C strings

How can I verify if a spirocore viola string is original?, thank you.

July 7, 2016 at 12:38 AM · Do a google search for "violin string silk color chart," and you will find many string identification pages. Then you can check this out for yourself.

July 7, 2016 at 03:18 AM · You should never buy strings from a dealer you do not completely trust, too many counterfeits out there.

PS Spirocore makes several different versions, Silver, Tungsten and chrome, its important that you distinguish which.

July 7, 2016 at 12:36 PM · I tried complete set of Spirocore viola strings years ago. They were awful on one of my violas and quite good on the other (the one I gave to my granddaughter).

Spirocore G and C cello strings have been quite standard and popular for decades - especially the tungsten wound ones.
